2017 Wedding Trends We Loved

We’ve seen some interesting trends enter 2017 which has really glammed up weddings this year. Some have seem to continue from 2016, and some we will also not be seeing in 2018. Here are a few of my favourite wedding trends which I really loved in 2017!

Confetti Balloons – These really look over the social media platforms this year, balloons filled with confetti. Not only have these been used for weddings, but for baby showers and birthdays too! They’ve really made a statement piece to use as decoration.

Wedding Pom Poms – I’ve absolutely loved these pom poms with a tissue paper effect; coming in multiple sizes and colours. Using these within a colour palette really helped to fill up the room and atmosphere for any wedding or event!

Wedding Tuk Tuks – We have seen enough of these photo booths throughout 2016 and coming into 2017. Although they have been the centrepiece to entertainment for guests, I am ready to see something new in 2018.

Naked Wedding Cakes – The styling of these cakes have been at the top of the wedding trend list in 2017. The simplicity of the cake and frosting has made any wedding look more beautiful and sophisticated. Without a doubt I see this trend growing in 2018, with additional features to suit to theme of weddings.
